Duane Tyler
Duane Tyler is a summa cum laude graduate of Montclair State University (1980, B.A. History) and a graduate of Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (1983, Juris Doctor) where he was a published member of the Temple Law Review. His legal education includes a semester at the University of Athens School of Law, Athens, Greece, where he studied comparative constitutional, civil, and criminal law. He is currently admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania (1983) and California (1990) and served on the San Diego County Bar Association Legal Ethics Committee.
Duane joined the firm in 2000. He started the litigation/bankruptcy department and managed the department until April 2022 when he took Senior Counsel status with the firm.  As Senior Counsel, Duane continues to advise credit unions on issues regarding members (other than collections), regulators, proposed legislation, insurers, vendors, and car dealers (against whom he has recovered several million dollars in settlements).
